Welcome
to JoFigure's Mysteries!
All the mystery quilts here are original creations by myself, Rhonda
Parrish.
I've made every possible effort to ensure accuracy, including making them myself
and asking friends and family to test them as well, however, it's possible that
errors remain. While I will be more than happy to help you should any of my instructions
not seem clear, I am not liable for any oopses -- I created these to share for
fun, not to be sued over. You do them at your own risk.

There, now that the obligatory disclaimer is out of the
way, let's get to the fun stuff!

Do you drink tea? Then you've got to check out Adagio Teas -- they
are amazing! They've introduced me to the world of loose leaf teas
and I'm completely in love. Even if you don't drink tea it's worth
checking out, because you sew don't you? If you're like me you've
got loads of little bits and pieces kicking around, pins, buttons,
embellishments -- well Adagio Teas have a sample size that comes
in a little tin that is PERFECT for holding all those things -- and
at only $2 each you can't beat the price! |
I wouldn't lie to you -- and in fact, if you send me an email at tea@niteblade.com that
has your first and last name in it I'll send you a FREE $5 gift certificate
from Adagio Teas so you can try them out for yourself. C'mon, what
have you got to lose?

A fun block of the month that will create a full-sized quilt I call 'Blue
North'. Watch for it!
Canada Day Table Runner
July 1st, 2007
This tablerunner has two different versions -- a three color version and a two
color version. I will be releasing it on July 1st, just in time for Canada Day
but since July 4th is so close I thought two versions would be a good idea. If
you're going with a Canadian theme you may want to do the two color version in
red and white, but if you want more colors or happen to be an American looking
for a red, white and blue theme -- you can do that with the three color version
:)

A Twisted
Table Runner
March 15, 2007
This is a quick project that can be finished in a weekend with no trouble. It's
slightly more difficult than the Valentines Day Mystery, but is still very much
a 'beginner' pattern. Even if you're just starting out in quilting you can jump
into this project and create a lovely table runner to grace your home -- or give
away as a gift.
This tablerunner will take one fat quarter each of three different colors, and
about a half meter of your background color to complete. The finished size
is approx. 44" x 14" .

Valentines
Day Mystery 2007
This is my first mystery and was created for the Mailblocks quilting
group. I wanted it to be something even the most inexpirienced quilter could
do with confidence -- as such, it's extremely simple but really quite charming
just the same.
It could be done over a weekend, but I'd suggest giving it a week -- so that
you don't go mad from making HSTs. The end result is approx. 40" x
40" without any borders.
