A Twisted Tablerunner

I'm so excited to present my second mystery :) This one is smaller than the first (2007 Valentines Day Mystery) and also slightly more difficult. It is still absolutely do-able for beginners however, so I encourage anyone, regardless of expirience to give it a shot :)

I do not recommend making this one scrappy -- at least not unless you are going to sneak a peek at the final result first -- I think you'll need to see the finished project in order to find fabric that will be of a high enough contrast to work.

In making this tablerunner I used three FQs for my colors 1, 2 and 3 and a half yard cut of fabric for the background. I ended up with leftovers, so that should be an appropriate amount for you to start out with -- but I suggest aiming to have a bit more than I suggest -- just in case.

Here are the fabrics I'll be working with:

They are all shimmery and unfortunately I discovered too late, my camera and shimmery fabrics don't mix well -- so I'll ask that you forgive some of the pictures with less than stellar color quality :)
