They aren&#8217;t really Half Square Triangles &#8212; they are squares<em> made up of<\/em> half square triangles &#8212; we should call them half triangle squares or HTSs. Of course, I&#8217;m really just typing out loud here&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>We&#8217;ll start off by making some HSTs &#8212; there are quite a few, but not enough that you&#8217;ll hate me when you&#8217;re done \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n<p>1. Make 16 HSTs using your background fabric and color #1.
