Here are the fabrics I’ll be working with:
Cutting Instructions For The Two Color Version
(I used about a 1/2 yard of each fabric to make this runner)
Background Fabric (White For Me):
- Four squares that are 5 1/2″ x 5 1/2″
- Four squares that are 3″ x 3″
- Two strips that are 3″ x 15 1/2″
- Six squares that are 3″ x 3″ — then cut them in half once diagonally
- Twelve squares that are 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ for HSTs*
Color #1 (Red For Me):
- Twelve rectangles that are 5 1/2″ x 3″
- One square that is 5 1/2″” x 5 1/2″
- Twelve squares that are 3 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ for HSTs*
* I use the method described as Method #1 at QuiltPox.com to make my HSTs, if you use a different method, your cutting instructions may vary.
